Deanna Neville is a community development facilitator with a difference. For more than 20 years she has helped transform communities by engaging people around important social, cultural, environmental and economic issues. Her work is unique in the way she localizes projects to impact across many layers of the community with immediate and long-term outcomes. Deanna’s business, Focus on Community, uses photo-narrative methodology, a distinctive process that involves people working directly with her to identify issues, targeting specific audiences and helping capture their unique stories. The images and narratives are then used to help inform, engage and influence behavioural change.
